LOUIS LOGIC – NYC

Louis Logic is a Brooklyn, NY rapper / singer-songwriter who first became noticed on the hip hop scene in the late 90s because of collaborations with Jedi Mind Tricks and the Demigodz. In 2003 he finally released the solo album Sin-A-Matic which was critically acclaimed and successful. After some great collaborations on Fat Beats records with JJ Brown and more recently with his band Spork Kills, Logic has returned to the fold with his own brand of hip hop experimentation. Louis’ sets consist of some of his classic hip hop material interspliced with intimate live piano performance. In 2010 Louis continued sharing his tunes with the world touring throughout The US, UK, Europe, Indonesia, Africa, and Australia.

CESCHI -

Like his tour mate Louis Logic, Ceschi is an East Coast (New Haven, CT) singer-songwriter based in Hip Hop tradition. In 2010 Ceschi has made serious waves in the hip hop community with his record label Fake Four Inc. and the release of his third solo album “The One Man Band Broke Up” which URB Magazine has called “one of the best conceptual hip hop records to drop in the past decade.” Ceschi’s live show consists of acoustic performances of lyric heavy folk songs paired with his unique brand of psych rock influenced hip hop.

In 2010 alone Ceschi has toured The US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada with artists such as Sole, Awol One, Myka 9, Moka Only and others.

GREGORY PEPPER & FACTOR ARE COMMON GRACKLE -

Fake Four artists Factor and Gregory Pepper are making some of Canada’s best new sounds. Factor is an extremely accomplished producer who has worked with everyone from underground legends such as Myka 9 and Awol One to more mainstream rappers such as Xzibit. Gregory Pepper is a bedroom indie pop musician who has been cranking out super-layered tracks that rival Brian Wilson’s in his prime he has also toured with indie rock heavy hitters such Islands, Born Ruffians and others. TOGETHER they have formed the group Common Grackle that is equally inspired by indie pop and hip hop – fitting perfectly into the Fake Four spectrum. Common Grackle have received praise from Exclaim, URB, Berkeley Place and others for their unique brand of hip hop inspired pop.
